Jr. Classic Bass Tournament |
|
| On September 16, 2006 the Haywood County Junior Bass Club sent six qualified participants to the Jr. Classic Bass Tournament held at Fyrne Lake. There was a six hour fishing time followed by a weigh-in and a fish release. A great time was had by all! |

Nursing Home visits |

| In May of 2005 seventeen residents of Dyersburg Manor Nursing & Rehab Center and Oakwood Community Living Center were given a special treat -- a day of fishing! The full story and many pictures can be found here in the State Gazette article. This day of fishing is now an annual event! The happy 2006 visitors are pictured below. |

Lake Stocking |
|
| Stocking Fyrne Lake is an annual event. The lake and its fish population is surveyed by a consultant each year to determine what is needed to provide top notch fishing. We take good fishing serious! |
